Terms
Terms of service
Effective November 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of linezerocyber.com and the hosted events Line Zero Cyber LLC ("we") runs for schools and teams. They're short on purpose. If anything here conflicts with a written booking confirmation we've sent you, the confirmation wins.
This website
The site is informational. Prices and descriptions are accurate as of the date shown on each page, and we may change them. A price on the site isn't a booking: an event is booked when we confirm a date with you in writing.
Please don't misuse the site or its contact form, for example by sending spam or trying to disrupt it, and don't probe it for weaknesses beyond what our security.txt file allows. To report a security problem, see that file. You're welcome to link to any page.
Booking an event
You book by contacting us. We agree a date, the product, the plan and the number of students (up to 35 a day), and confirm them in writing. Events are booked at least a week ahead.
Payment, rescheduling and cancellation terms are set out in your booking confirmation. We don't accept or promise purchase orders through this site; contact us to discuss them.
Supervision and participants
Your school's teacher or organizer supervises students for the whole event. The On-Site Proctor add-on brings one of our hosts to run the event, but it doesn't replace that supervision.
The organizer is responsible for having any permissions it needs from parents, guardians or its own school or district to let students take part. We collect no student information through this site.
Acceptable use of the labs
Our ranges are built so students can practice offensive and defensive security safely. Participants may attack only the targets in the lab they've been given, and only within the event's rules of engagement.
Everything in our challenges, labs, tools and write-ups is for education and training. Our labs are the only systems we give anyone permission to attack. Using what's learned against any other system, or trying to break out of the lab, is not allowed, and so is attacking another team's range, the scoreboard or our infrastructure. We may stop an event or remove a participant who does.
The organizer is responsible for their participants' conduct during the event. Each person is responsible for how they use what they learn afterward. Computer-misuse laws apply to real systems, and accessing a system without permission can be a crime.
Our content
The site, the challenges, the labs, the scoreboard, and their text, code, designs and images belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for the event you booked, but please don't copy, resell, republish or build a competing service from them, scrape the site in bulk, or share challenge solutions or flags outside your class or team.
Line Zero, Redline-CTF, BlueLine-CTF and Zer0-Grounds are names we use for our services. Please don't use them, or similar names, in a way that suggests we run, sponsor or endorse something we don't. Reading and linking to the public pages is always fine.
Line Zero is not affiliated with or endorsed by CompTIA, SkillsUSA, FBLA or CyberPatriot. Their names belong to their owners.
Our responsibility
We work to run each event as described, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and the site and our events are provided as they are to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited. Any other limits are set out in your booking confirmation.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If we change them, we'll update this page and its date. Changes don't affect an event you've already booked.
Questions about these terms are welcome. Email us at the address below.
